Any hemp or raw honey farmers out there? I have a recipe you’ll love!

When I created this recipe, I just went with my instincts. I was anxious to try something new and had fun with combining the ingredients. I had no clue whatsoever if these mock donut holes would be yummy enough to gobble up or horrific enough to want to spit them back out!

But never fear, have fun when ingredients are near.

These “donut” holes are literally a happy accident I just happened upon as I experimented. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

The photo of the holes was taken on a saucer, so these are bite-sized treats. You can make them bigger if you like or increase the recipe enough to turn them into squares or bars, cut them into shapes…. just have fun.

Hemp Honey Donut Holes

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup ground flax, preferably freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon coconut cream concentrate
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon hemp powder

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix them (I just stirred with a spoon).
  2. Pull small pieces of dough off.
  3. Roll dough into little balls (aka holes).
  4. Pop in the fridge, freezer, or even dehydrator if you like – I just popped one in my mouth right away!

Enjoy!

NOTE: These ingredients made six “donut” holes. You can double or triple the recipe to make more at one time. I was going for a small batch as this was an experiment.
