Are any of you lucky enough to grow or at least have easy access to freshly grown, local bananas and/or avocados? Maybe you have an avocado tree in your yard, or perhaps your neighbor does? Oh, and how awesome it would be to have a banana straight from the tree….
However you end up getting the ingredients for this recipe, you are certainly going to be amazed and delighted by how decadent and creamy this pudding is. You don’t taste the avocado so if anyone in your family, or any of your friends, truly detest avocados and won’t eat them, this is such a fun, healthy, and delicious way to sneak them some!
Healthful Chocolate Pudding Recipe
- 1 tablespoon raw honey, melted (mine had solidified)
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1/2 avocado (it was a big one)
- 1 tablespoon certified organic cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons almond milk, or your choice of milk
Toss all ingredients in to your blender or food processer and blend all the ingredients together ‘till they’re creamy and smooth. Enjoy immediately!
You can multiply the ingredients by how many you’ll be serving and adjust the recipe accordingly.
Kitchen Tip: Cut or break your bananas in to chunks and freeze them in bags or containers, for future use. It keeps yummy bananas from going to waste before you can eat or use them all.
